Bad attitudes
What is WITH people!?
At what point did that stuck up rich people of the world decide they got to look down on everyone else.
I'm so sick of people thinking they are better than everyone else.
Especially the majority of the customers of Starbucks.
A simple response to "Hello" as opposed to "Coffee." please and thank you would be nice.
but no.....this is too difficult I suppose...
I think I would have liked to live in the 50s.....
People who need their drink SO perfect and SO fast that you wonder why they just don't make it themselves at home (especially if it's just brewed coffee.....honestly)
Someday a barista somewhere is just going to snap and no one is going to be surprised.

News of the world....
I find there are days where I have no hope.
I've graduated from both University and College....but I work for minimum wage at Starbucks, a job I dislike very very strongly.
And right now I see no way out
It's always fun to learn that the industry you are in is suffering. In the 9 months I've been working in television there have been 2 layoffs....and today I learned the station is for sale...and if there is no buyer in 6-8 weeks...it will close.... So the little tiny toe I had in the industry will slam shut...and the very little hope I had slams with it. Not to mention other stations are also downsizing.
I see people getting married, having babies...living the adult life. And my heart shatters b/c deep down I know I'll never have that. I have trouble making rent and affording groceries in the same week. Forget affording to walk down the aisle....buying the home..and raising children in it....
That's something I've always wanted in life....and it seems everyday I'm reminded that this is something I'll never know and it just makes me want to give up now. What's the point in trying when all you get is failure....

Book Pick of the Month
So I read ALOT because I read so fast
Right now I'm in the middle of two books which I feel deserve a recommendation.
The Book of Negros by Lawrence Hill
WOW....I had never given any thought to the slave trade, not any deeeep thought other than they were brought from Africa...and I saw some of Roots...That's it...But this book just sends your mind to a realm that I never knew existed. I'm not done yet, but it's an unbelievably vivid and alive book.
The Jesus I Never Knew by Philip Yancey
Innnnnteresting!!! Again a book where it's a topic I never thought too much about. Jesus was born at Christmas and died at Easter and rose again. The End. But this book explores all the years in between and the other relationships that Jesus had. Very interesting I say.
Now to read to pass the time because the Super Bore is on!
